Background
Linda is passionate about deeply understanding the predicament of a person when distress and suffering occur due to inner and outer experiences at any stage of life.

Her clinical work is evidence-based, ethically-focussed in philosophies of first-do-no-harm, driven by humanistic approach which guides one to learn more about the self, the mind and ways to nurture self and mind towards optimal health and healing.
Linda comes from a family of physicians and academics and her family were locally very well-known in the community for their generosity and charitable pursuits and she watched her parents give selflessly to contribute and help in society.
Distinctions all through school years marked Linda’s academic path and she entered Medical School with a clear determination to do Psychiatry as her post-graduate training. During the past over 25 years in clinical work, Linda has gained a unique set of skills and expertise in engaging and collaborating with patients in their exploration of their struggles and wounds and modes of treatments. Linda is a fully qualified psychotherapist in both psychodynamic and contemplative therapy and offers an opportunity to her patients to understand themselves with greater insights which allow them to take actions towards health and healing.
Linda has underdone psychoanalysis and therapy herself to appreciate the process of therapy and also what it’s like to be on the ‘other side of the table’. She is a long-time meditator and studied the wisdom traditions to enhance her knowledge and experience of ‘the ‘soul’ as she wishes to nurture similar pursuits in her patients with deep listening, understanding and care.
Linda is passionate about Refugee Health, Human Rights and Diversity & Inclusion. She has generously and pro-bono supported Refugee Health aspects locally and has dreams to continue this work for a long time. Linda is also deeply respectful towards creatives in their ventures in creative expression and how it sometimes takes shape through the ashes of pain and offers her services to nurture the interface of creativity and mental health with caution, care and trusting alliance with her patients.
Staying off social media, gadgets, yoga on a regular basis alongwith a very good dose of Arts & Culture and Mother Nature allow Linda to self-care and maintain her passion and energy in her life’s work in Psychiatry.
